One-stop, co-located

services for victims of violence

The Orange County Family Justice Center (FJC) is located in the Neighborhood Resource Center on Broadway in Newburgh, New York. The FJC is only the third of its kind in New York State.  It is designed as a model collaboration between the County of Orange, Orange County Department of Social Service and Safe Homes of Orange County.

The Family Justice Center concept is designed to create co-located services for victims of violence and their children.  By co-locating services, it eases the barriers faced by victims and allows easier access to much needed services. Additionally, the Orange County Family Justice Center is intended to create a warm, safe, nurturing environment for victims to seek services.

Mission:

The Orange County Family Justice Center builds bridges of hope for victims of violence, through the collaboration of a community of partners working together; the FJC will reduce the barriers faced by victims of domestic violence in need of assistance.
