Join Safe Homes of Orange County in celebrating everyday heroes at our Annual "We Can Be Heroes" 5K and Kids Fun Run on Sunday, April 14, 2019. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome!



8:15 am 1-mile Kids Fun Run (14 & under only)
8:30 am 1/4-mile Kids Fun Run (6 & under only)
9:00 am 5K Run/Walk (all ages)




The well-marked course starts and finishes at the Newburgh Free Academy Main Campus Athletic Field and winds through some of the city's most beautiful residential neighborhoods. One water/aid station will be located along the course.



We’re big believers in everyday heroes and encourage YOU to be the hero of your own story. Dress up and race as your favorite hero - personal hero, superhero, the sky is the limit! If costumes aren't your thing, we encourage you to wear bright colors.

Newburgh Free Academy Athletic Field, 201 Fullerton Ave, Newburgh, NY



Awards will be presented to the top overall finishers, as well as to the top finishers in each age group.



100% of race proceeds will benefit Safe Homes of Orange County's mission to work toward the elimination of intimate partner violence and human trafficking by providing comprehensive support services to victims and their children, and by increasing public awareness about these issues and encouraging accountability for perpetrators.
